{"name":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","summary":"Simple window anchoring / resizing / moving / screen placement manager that works.","description":"Simple window anchoring / resizing / moving / screen placement manager that works.\n\nWindow size cycling between up to 3 percentage values based on the anchor point. All steps are optional and all values configurable.\n* Left / Right - maximizes window vertically and cycles through the percentage of the screen width.\n* Top / Bottom - keeps the window's horizontal position and width, and cycles through the percentage of the screen height.\n* Mid-screen - centres the window and cycles through the percentage of both screen axes.\n\nMove windows between screens / monitors.\n* Preserves the relative dimensions, so the window takes the same relative space and location as it did on the previous screen.\n* Does not get stuck when screens have different sizes or dimensions.\n\nMaximize\n* Toggles the window between maximized and its previous size.\n\nRestore\n* Restore a window to the size and position it had before the current run of Bifocals commands.\n* A window Bifocals has never touched falls back to the last saved restore point for any window of the same application.\n\nEvery shortcut is rebindable, and clearing one disables that action.","homepage_url":"https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4375/bifocals/","license":"GPL-2.0-or-later","attribute_paths":["gnomeExtensions.bifocals"],"releases":[{"version":"5","last_updated":"2026-09-29T03:29:29Z","platforms":[{"arch":"arm64","os":"Linux","system":"aarch64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"b6c8664de9b6cc07fe5666a29f91884ba81197c4","date":"2026-09-29T03:29:29Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/fw1rx3xblfrjzs5wqw77djfl0brjrz3x-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-5","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"arch":"x86-64","os":"Linux","system":"x86_64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"b6c8664de9b6cc07fe5666a29f91884ba81197c4","date":"2026-09-29T03:29:29Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/ab6wkj00imdckzqfyjf5njrph2rjbf67-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-5","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false}],"platforms_summary":"Linux","outputs_summary":"","prerelease":false,"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"version":"4","last_updated":"2026-08-27T07:16:00Z","platforms":[{"arch":"arm64","os":"Linux","system":"aarch64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"c27cdad491a991b11ed731760aa2ef8db0cb0410","date":"2026-08-27T07:16:00Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/wprvdbgd12bv26zja8j5f8rh5kv056la-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-4","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"arch":"x86-64","os":"Linux","system":"x86_64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"c27cdad491a991b11ed731760aa2ef8db0cb0410","date":"2026-08-27T07:16:00Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/gsp356a7fmdn5hc63ibbv48gi2mj5kps-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-4","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false}],"platforms_summary":"Linux","outputs_summary":"","prerelease":false,"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"version":"2","last_updated":"2023-11-17T14:14:56Z","platforms":[{"arch":"arm64","os":"macOS","system":"aarch64-darwin","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"a71323f68d4377d12c04a5410e214495ec598d4c","date":"2023-11-17T14:14:56Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/iyyv3hs69hf2qzzb26ljnbk7cglw8jf0-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-2","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"arch":"arm64","os":"Linux","system":"aarch64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"a71323f68d4377d12c04a5410e214495ec598d4c","date":"2023-11-17T14:14:56Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/s2bghic4w3jifqx6y2ny7d0jih4vqj4i-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-2","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"arch":"x86-64","os":"macOS","system":"x86_64-darwin","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"a71323f68d4377d12c04a5410e214495ec598d4c","date":"2023-11-17T14:14:56Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/g8sw90n16ibcxgzxi3rs7jj0ck2i3sh8-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-2","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false},{"arch":"x86-64","os":"Linux","system":"x86_64-linux","attribute_path":"gnomeExtensions.bifocals","commit_hash":"a71323f68d4377d12c04a5410e214495ec598d4c","date":"2023-11-17T14:14:56Z","outputs":[{"name":"out","path":"/nix/store/fv4nhvwnv3aj0sk94ill4mg7wabzxp72-gnome-shell-extension-bifocals-2","default":true}],"broken":false,"insecure":false}],"platforms_summary":"Linux
